Vémol’s reward for winning against Matava? His wife will take care of it. It was as important a fight as the one with Kinclo, reports the Terminator

Karlos “Terminátor” Vémola took on the experienced warrior Al Matava at the Oktagon in Liberec and compared the importance of the fight to his upcoming superfight with Patrik Kinclo. Vémola said he probably couldn’t handle the loss mentally. His wife will reward him at home for the victory.
The “Terminator” managed to deal with Matava without much difficulty, but as he admits, it was far from a flawless performance. “I got carried away by thecrowd, he was pushing me forward and I wanted to get the takedown at all costs,” Vémola told Sport.
His American Samoan opponent hit him a couple of times early on and if it wasn’t for his strengths on the ground, he would have been in real trouble. Fortunately for him, he used his strengths to the best of his ability.
“There were mistakes I didn’t have to make. I know that now, even the coaches don’t have to tell me anything. I should have waited, I should have lured him better. Just like I baited him in the back. Ishouldn’t have gone in there like that,” the Czech fighter asked his conscience after the fight.
It was his thirty-fourth career victory and the fourth time in a row he was able to win over his opponent using one of the choking techniques, which is his favourite discipline. Vemola returned to the cage after nine long months of battling health problems.
He had to miss his long-awaited duel with Patrik Kinclo in December and will finally face him on May 20 at the O2 Arena in Prague. “The fightwith Matavao was just as important as the one with Kinclo,” said the 37-year-old.
“Can you imagine what would happen to that fight at the O2 Arena if I got bombed now and lost? Mentally, I wouldn’t have made it, I probably wouldn’t have even entered the fight. Kincl would have had a replacement for me,” Vémola said.
And what will be his reward for defeating Matavao? It will be taken care of by Vémola’s legal wife and Slovak model Lela Ceterová. “It was amazing! I’ll make him a cake as a reward, that’s what he likes best,” smiled the beautiful blonde.
