Vémola vs. Marpo in a rematch? There’s no one against. Every time he hit me, my head was buzzing, the Terminator paid tribute to the rapper. What does Marpo have to say about the fight?

Nobody wanted that ending. Karlos Vémola won, but he, Marpo and the promoters were not happy with the unexpected referee’s intervention. However, a rematch could be in the cards. How do both players rate the fight and what does Ondrej Novotny have to say about the rematch?

Abeautiful tournament with an extremely bitter ending, that was OKTAGON Underground. The bitter end is the end of the main event. Karlos Vémola won by TKO, however Marpo was in his right mind, he was not counted and he was not even warned that the fight could be over at that moment.

But it did. And if the whole O2 arena was booing because of the style the Terminator presented, even more boos were heard when the name of the winner was announced, even though the MMA fighter himself disagreed with how it all ended. Immediately in the ring, he declared it a travesty.

And what did Marpo say? “I don’t agree with it, I wasn’t shaken once, I wasn’t naked, I wasn’t hurt, I was active and I was trying to hit some jacks. I worked my ass off and I think we could have done 6 rounds,” he expressed at the press conference.

According to his words, he got about 30 headers in the match, was hit in the groin several times and couldn’t get away from Vemola as he is wide. “He said it was going to be a travesty on his part and it was,” Marpo added.

The Terminator didn’t hide his regret at the press conference, but he is mostly sorry for such an ending because he promised the first KO of his career. In addition, he admitted that he himself did not feel that Marpo was in any way shaken or that he was perhaps in danger of being finished. However, he added that in short, you can never leave a fight to the judges.

Among other things, Vémola noted that Marpo was indeed a tough opponent. “Every time he hit me, my head was buzzing. He had power. I didn’t want to take any chances and open myself up to get hit with an uppercut,” he admitted.

Given the end of the match, a potential rematch was on the cards. And no one turned it down. Promoter Ondřej Novotný used the old phrase “never say never”, pointing out that everyone had to agree.

The Terminator used the eloquent phrase “Show me the money” and Marpo said he would be happy to fight again to show people how big his heart is, which he proved in this fight.
