Finally, the fans have arrived. Karlos Vémola and Patrik Kincl will fight for the Octagon middleweight championship belt at the O2 Arena in Prague in December.
Over the weekend, we informed you that Oktagon MMA is preparing a big news for Monday morning. All indications were pointing to a rematch between champion Patrik Kinclo and Karlos Vemola for the Oktagon middleweight title.
This information was confirmed today at 9:00 a.m. by the organization itself. Fans will thus see the final denouement of a story that began in 2018 back in the XFN organization. Back then, the Terminator won a three-round battle on points.
Now, the two will face off in a spectacular rematch that will mark another defense of middleweight champion Kinceloe. This time, however, he’ll face an implacable rival who began promoting a rematch immediately after Kinc’s coronation following his bout with Lohore.
Prague’s O2 arena will witness a war between two big names in domestic MMA on December 30, 2022. The bout, subtitled “The Showdown” because of Vemola’s nickname, will decide who will be the true middleweight king of the Octagon.
“You’ve waited four long years and now, now it’s finally here,” the organization entices fans on its social media. “The rematch and the most anticipated fight of the domestic scene for the OKTAGON MMA championship belt,” reads the caption of the Instagram post.
“A clash of champions and a rivalry that is unprecedented on the scene, two men, two great personalities, two stories and only one winner,” the organization promotes the duel that will end a great year for Czechoslovak MMA. Oktagon 38 has an incredible end of the year momentum.
