Vémola said who he would like to fight in September! Will the Octagon oblige him?
Carlos Vemola is without question the biggest horse in the Octagon organization. Thanks to that, he can choose who he fights. However, he has now said two names he would like, yet the promoters cannot be expected to oblige him. Why?
Karlos Vémola is without any doubt the biggest horse of the Octagon organization. Thanks to that, he can choose who he fights. However, he has now said two names he would like, yet the promoters cannot be expected to oblige him. Why?
Vémola is now recovering from an injury and will show up at Stvanica this month in a fight with Poland’s Marcin Naruzsczuka.
After that, he’s scheduled to box Marpo in November, but before that you’ll be happy to step in for a fight. And he’s even chosen his own opponent.
The first opponent is Samuel Kristofich, known to the public as The Pirate. Apparently, he should be too easy an opponent for Vemola, which is why the promoters are avoiding the possible fight.
“Ondrej Novotny says that Pirat is not an opponent for me. I know he’s not an opponent for me, but we all know that. He’s improving at the moment, but let him wait a little longer. I’ll gladly take the fight, I like easy money. Yes, feel free to give it to me in September in Bratislava,” said Vémola during the broadcast with Fightlive.
His second dream opponent is the new heavyweight champion – Martin Buday. Vémola would easily skip two weight classes for him.
“If you think Pirate is not an opponent for me, then give me the heavyweight, your baddest man in Czechoslovakia Buday. I really have no problem going to heavyweight with him. Although I don’t think Buday has the qualities everyone says he does. But Ondra didn’t respond to that either, so we’ll see.”
