Octagon has one last tournament of the year ahead of it, however, it has been slowly releasing plans for next year as well. In connection with this, a tournament in Oberhausen, Germany, has been announced for June 17.

The OKTAGON 44 gala will once again feature Germany’s biggest stars, one of whom has even been promised a title fight. Namely Stephan Pütz. It’s not in writing, but the situation seems clear.

After all, Pütz is fighting at welterweight, where the title is held by none other than Karlos Vémola. Unless something unexpected happens, we will probably see a battle of two Terminators.

Oktagon has promised this to its fans in the past, both fighters have already challenged each other and there has been some banter and personal bets, according to which the fight will be at least for the nickname.

Also in play is a fight for a paycheck, or possibly for Vemola’s animals, which Pütz wants to take into his care to find them better owners with a much better environment to live in.

However, it was generally expected that the fight would take place in Frankfurt, optimally in a large hall. The Octagon planned to promote the fight spectacularly so that there would actually be a lot of interest in the fight.

However, if the fight does happen in Oberhausen, it will be seen by less than the 15,000 spectators that can fit into the Rudolf Weber-Arena there.

The question is how Vémol’s health will be. He pulled out of the fight with Patrik Kinclo because of it. Pütz won’t be any easier of a challenge for him, on the contrary.
