Vémola again questioned his participation in the match with Pirates, but he is clear about one thing: I’ll be the first to end it!
A case that has no end. Everything seemed to be solved, but the public still cannot be clear. Karlos Vémola has again partially questioned his participation in the title match with Pirate at the end of the year. What did he say?
A case that has no end. Everything seemed to be solved, but the public still cannot be clear. Karlos Vémola has again partially questioned his participation in the title match with Pirate at the end of the year. What did he say?
There was a big fuss about it. Karlos Vémola doesn’t want to be the first one in the cage in the game against Pirates. He threatened he wouldn’t even play. At times, it seemed like the Terminator’s demise in the Octagon was imminent.
But in recent days, both title challengers have shared a photo of themselves with Ondrej Novotny on social media, both with a completely different caption. Vémola wrote that a deal was in the works and that the clouds were lifting over Samuel Kristofich.
But the Slovakian fighter sent a slightly more interesting message that few people understood. One half suggests that the Pirate has backed down, but the other half of the post suggests the opposite.
And how is it all? That’s what the Terminator hinted at during Thursday night’s stream. According to him, it’s now up to Novotny to announce what’s what and how what’s actually going to be.
But beyond that, he again questioned his participation in the December fight. According to his words, he doesn’t need to wrestle, he reiterated that at least he wouldn’t have to torture himself with a diet, he could celebrate Christmas with his family and he would be happy to see the Pirate fight someone else.
He also added that he simply has no reason to respect Kristofich, and that he will be the first one in the cage in Slovakia, but not in Prague. So there is still not much clarity about the December fight, but it slowly seems that its confirmation is a little closer.
What is clear, however, is Vémol’s prediction: ‘When I face him, I will humiliate him. I followed his Sherdog and I know he didn’t have world-class opponents, but I was surprised he survived his three losses to the end. I was amazed after that beating with Kozma. He’s never been finished before. The Terminator will be first. It might be faster than you expect.”
