Vémola after the win over Matava: Kincl can’t beat me, I’m better in every way. What are his plans?
Karlos Vémola did it. Despite some difficulties in the beginning of the match he managed to defeat Al Matavaa and now he has an expected rematch with Patrik Kinclo. How did Terminator rate the fight and what are his plans?

The Terminator is back. He tested himself in Liberec and now he has an extremely tough fight with Patrik Kinclo. But Al Matavao didn’t give him the win for free. However, Karlos Vémola himself is to blame for the complications.
The native of Olomouc let himself get too carried away by the crowd. After a long break, he wanted to show off to the fans and so he stepped on the gas too much, kept the fight in the stance for an unusually long time and could have regretted it.
Matavao is a standup puncher, that much is known. And he also hit Vemola a few times. The Terminator admitted that the Samoan fighter could shake him. He sees it as a great experience though, as he realized he can’t let something like that happen against Kinclo.
Eventually, though, the Czech fighter was able to take the fight to the ground, where he forced Matavao to tap out by catching a great rear-naked choke.
“I have to fight smart. Kincl can’t beat me in any aspect, I’m better in every way. But if I make a mistake, he is smart enough to punish me for it,” Vemola was heard saying at the press conference.
Besides, he said that in order to fight Attila Vegh, he has to beat Kincelo. But there may be other fights to come before the arranged rematch of the Match of the Century besides the duel with Kinclo.
In Oberhausen, Pavol Langer and Alexander Poppeck will face off for the interim title. And will either of them challenge Vemola later this year? “If one of them is my next opponent, I’ll take it. I want to be an active champion. We’ve talked about Poppeck before, but it didn’t happen. Langer showed great form against Xavier,” he says.
Terminator even hinted that he could theoretically make it two fights before the duel with Vegh. After all, he wants to be active so he intends to face interesting challenges.
