Vémola after returning from the hospital: one day you’re at the peak of your career and then you’re a wreck who can barely go to the toilet
Karlos Vémola has been released from hospital for home treatment. The Octagon welterweight champion has been battling inflammation for several weeks, which unfortunately will prevent him from fighting Patrik Kinclo. What did he say upon his return home?
Karlos Vémola has been released from hospital for home treatment. The Octagon welterweight champion has been battling inflammation for several weeks, which unfortunately will prevent him from fighting Patrik Kinclo. What did he say upon his return home?
Karlos Vémola had to spend long days in the hospital, the reason was a strong inflammation that prevented him from participating in the Oktagon 38 tournament.
So he will not wear the middleweight championship belt in 2022. It is also a big question whether he will ever face Patrick Kinclo, as the current champion plans to be part of Game Changer.
Back to Vemola, though. The veteran wrestler has been released from the hospital for home treatment and sent a message to his fans to mark the occasion.
“To all of you who have been sending me some support, thank you so much. I’m going to disappear from social media for a few days now as I need to get my head straight first.
It’s quite a strain on my head. One day you’re at the peak of your career and within two weeks you’re slowly becoming a wreck who can barely make it to the toilet.
As my great role model Arnie says, what doesn’t destroy you makes you stronger. Every obstacle that is thrown at you in life is there just to get you over it and climb one step higher than you were before,” he said on his Instagram.
He will now be able to enjoy the Christmas holidays to the fullest as his next fight is in sight. Many are talking about him calling it a career already, but Vemola hasn’t even hinted at that yet.
