Vemola: A rematch with Attila? If he doesn’t recover, start winning fights, people will say I beat someone who is out of shape
Karlos Vémola currently has two fights lined up, but that doesn’t stop him from spouting names of who he would like to fight in the coming months. He plans to fight Stephan Pütz in the Octagon, then finally Attila Vegh.
Karlos Vémola currently has two fights lined up, but that doesn’t stop him from spouting names of who he would like to fight in the coming months. He plans to fight Stephan Pütz in the Octagon, then finally Attila Vegh.
Karlos Vémola is in full preparation, already in April he will fight Al Matava and a month later he will fight Patrik Kinclo. So there is no time to rest.
Vémola returned from the camp in Thailand and visited the KSW tournament in Liberec, where he spoke to Sport.cz about what awaits him after the two fights.
“I always focus on something that will happen. Now I have two really tough fights ahead of me. Matavao and Kincl are waiting for me. Then in the very near future should be the German Terminator Pütz. We are talking about it quite intensively,” said Terminator.
However, there is also talk of a rematch with Attila Vegh, who is expected to fight Eric Spicely at the next Fight Night Challenge organization gala.
“It would be good if Attila had a fight. After all, I’ve been working here for four years, and since he beat me I’ve won the Octagon welterweight and middleweight titles, picking up win after win, and he comes out dancing when he gets paid. He’snot doing anything, he’s gaining weight, ” he added.
Vémola said he would like his opponent to prepare properly. If the match was not up to scratch, he would have listened to jeers from all sides even if he won.
“If he wants the rematch, he should start doing something. The fact that he will wrestle before then is only a plus. I’m long past the point where I wanted the rematch badly.
Because if he doesn’t get back up, start winning fights and start getting in shape, if that rematch is just for the sake of going there for some money, then people will say I beat someone who’s out of shape. And I don’t want that. I want him to come as ready and hungry as he was in the first fight,” finished Vémola.
