Losene Keita could already be part of the UFC or any other organization in the world. However, he chose otherwise. We will continue to see him in the Oktagon, and for that, the fans are extremely grateful. Promoter Ondrej Novotny gave a glimpse behind the scenes and revealed contract information.
He’s one of the biggest stars in the Oktagon. Not only because of his qualities. It can be said that perhaps no foreign fighter has had such a great support among the Czechoslovak audience as him.
Losene Keita has become a phenomenon. He is currently number two in the P4P rankings among the organization’s best fighters, regardless of weight class. He was the lightweight champion, now he reigns at featherweight. No wonder he’s been in demand all over the world.
Fans were hoping to see him in the new edition of the Tipsport Gamechanger project. This year it will take place at lightweight and will feature big names, including Ronald Paradeiser, who has long been asking for a rematch with Black Panther.
For a long time, it was unclear whether Keita would not only enter the pyramid. The question was whether he would even continue to be a part of the Oktagon. Promoter Ondrej Novotny himself admitted that fighting the competition is not easy.
On Friday, however, there was an awesome announcement. Losene Keita will be part of Tipsport Gamechanger and more.
Losene Keita in the crosshairs of the giants
It was no secret that the star of the Oktagon organization was the competition. Ondrej Novotny made no secret that he had to fight such giants as KSW, ONE FC, PFL and UFC for the champion.
Losene Keita, however, is in no hurry to go anywhere and has decided that he is still in the Oktagon. It’s a clear signal that confirms that the Oktagon is no longer just any organization that will let its best fighters move on at any cost.
Black Panther signed a contract with the Czechoslovakian organization not only for the Tipsport Gamechanger project, which is excellent news for fans.
“Everybody tried to get him. He had an offer from the UFC. He had a big offer, probably the biggest offer from the PFL, including that million-dollar pyramid right here in America. Of course, KSW tried to grab him, but he probably says it best for himself,” Novotny revealed the behind-the-scenes details to MMA Shorties.
“He understands that nobody in Europe will give him what we do. He wants to build his legacy with us. In addition to Tipsport Gamechanger, we signed a second contract. This one is for more fights and more years,” the Oktagon boss revealed the great news.
Losene Keita can thus continue to entertain the fans of the Czechoslovakian organization. In addition, he can further his career and strengthen his legacy in Tipsport Gamechanger.
