Tipsport Gamechanger resonates with the world’s media! How did the promoters present Oktagon MMA in an exclusive interview with the British media?
Tipsport Gamechanger resonates with media around the world. In an interview with British media, the promoters of Octagon MMA introduced the organization to the fans there.
The organization presents its project as the biggest European tournament of all time. It has naturally received a lot of media attention not only in domestic waters. Even world-famous foreign servers writing about combat sports informed their fans about today’s gala.
Pavol Neruda presented Oktagon MMA for the British station Talksport
British radio station Talksport therefore decided to contact the organisation’s management for an exclusive interview. In it, Oktagon promoters Pavol Neruda and Ondrej Novotny presented the main idea of their organization.
“We are both TV fighters, storytellers and have a different approach,” Pavol Neruda told Talksport. “We started with this amazing sport, starting with reality TV shows at a time when MMA was a very unpopular sport.”
“We created fighters’ stories and started to share them with the general public, not just combat sports fans,” he reveals the organization’s first steps. “We showed that these fighters are not just bloodthirsty cage-fighting monsters, they are just nice guys like you and me with our own problems.”
“That was our goal from the beginning, to build not only a sports promotion, but also a media company. And so here we are now, the big promotion of these stories brings a huge show,” Neruda added.
We are targeting the European market, says another promoter Ondřej Novotný
“Our goals mostly correspond to our dreams,” added promoter Ondřej Novotný, adding, ” We don’t compete with other organisations because we don’t think we are in the same market.“
“We share the same market with them, but we want to make a great sports show and build heroes for the fans. That’s what we don’t see in other organisations,” offering a comparison with other organisations in Europe.
“We want to bring that to the Europeans. Nobody is successful in Europe. Nobody is going to different countries and selling tickets. And we believe we have found the key to open up the European market and bring an audience to an organization that is purely focused on European fighters,” he outlined his organization’s focus on the European market.
The expansion will continue in the coming years
The Oktagon MMA organization has a relatively short history among European organizations, but has already begun its conquest of the German scene. It made its way to its western neighbours last year when it sold out Frankfurt’s Festhalle for the first time in MMA history.
This year she plans to stage an MMA gala in Manchester. As well as fights between classic MMA fighters, the tournament will also feature British comedian Paul Smith and X Factor star Jake Quickenden, whose preparation for the fight will be documented by TV cameras.
