The Terminator returns! Next stop is Oberhausen, they report. Will he come for the Vemola fight?
The German Terminator Stephan Püetz has had quite a long break. His last appearance in the cage was in October when he defeated Milos Petrasek. Since then, he’s had to overcome several complications. But now he’s making a comeback.
German Terminator Stephan Püetz has had quite a long break. His last appearance in the cage was in October when he defeated Milos Petrasek. Since then, he’s had to overcome several complications. But now he’s making a comeback.
OKTAGON 43 is behind us and in less than a month we will see another tournament. It will be held for the first time ever in Oberhausen, Germany, and just like on Saturday in Prague, we can expect Terminator to participate in the next gala.
But this time it will be the German one. Stephan Püetz, the German number one at least in the welterweight division, has announced his return to action. Last time he defeated Milos Petrasek, before that he took on Martin Zawada.
In the organization so far, T-800 was only unable to keep up with Viktor Pest, when the fight was stopped by the doctor. But after the duel with Petrasek he had to deal with unpleasant complications. First of all, he tore his posterior cruciate ligament in the fight with the Czech fighter back in October.
To make matters worse, he also tore his anterior cruciate ligament in February. That meant a seven-month forced layoff. In addition, he suffered frostbite while filming the reality show Arctic Warrior, which didn’t help much either.
He recently had a hair transplant and is now reporting a comeback. “Do what you love. Love what you do. I’m finally back on the mat and can be active. Next stop is Oberhausen,” he announces on Instagram.
It’s worth noting that in Oberhausen, Pavol Langer and Alexander Poppeck will face off for the interim welterweight title and thus the fight with Karlos Vemola.
It’s worth mentioning that the organization and Vemola himself have already announced a Terminator fight between Karlos and Pütz. Of course, everything depends on how Stephan will handle his fight after his injury and when the Olomouc native will recover from his defeat to Patrik Kinzel.
