The situation with Vemola? One of the things I take pride in is that I don’t lie, Novotný said

Just like last year, we lost a big game. Karlos Vémola and Patrik Kinclo won’t show up at Oktagon 38, both are injured. The promoter of the organization Ondřej Novotný tried to explain the situation.
Until last week, there was no indication that we would not see a title fight between Karlos Vémola and Patrik Kinclo. However, the former got inflammation and had to head to the hospital.
He remains in that hospital and that’s why the organization announced earlier this week that unfortunately we won’t see the long-promoted rematch. On Friday, more negative news came in.
Kincl also refused to fight at the O2 Arena due to injury, so the main event will be a rematch between Jonas Magard and Filip Mack.
“Patrik was offered by several opponents. He refused all of them, saying that he has an injury and will not enter. I knew beforehand that he was not 100 percent, but he will definitely go for Carlos,” he said in an interview with iSport.
The opponents were really interesting, but Kincl himself admitted that he would risk surgery, so he would only accept Nate Diaz as a replacement opponent, but his terms were not compatible with the Octagon.
Explanation of the situation
“One of the things I pride myself on is that I don’t lie. He himself informed me last Wednesday that he was in the hospital. He told me on Friday that he wasn’t particularly well, but there was definitely no talk of cancelling the fight.
I spoke to people around him on Saturday who said that even Professor Kolar doesn’t know yet. And early Sunday morning Karlos wrote to me that it would not work and that it was much worse,” he explained the situation to the iSport website.
Then came the big merry-go-round, which will stop only after the end of the tournament. However, we don’t have to worry about its attractiveness.
We can still look forward to the aforementioned title match between Magard and Mack, Juráček, Lohoré, Peňáz, Škvor, Kohout, Malach and Dohnal will also be present.
