David Kozma will defend his title again in April, his opponent will be the legendary Petr Knize, who could become the oldest Oktagon champion. How does the organization’s longest reigning champion see his next fight?

David Kozma has made two defenses in the past year, and now he’s facing another. For the second time in his career, the ace will take on Peter Knight, who defeated him in 2017 in a memorable XFN-sponsored battle.

At the time, Knizet was the big favourite, now it should be the other way around. Kozma has shown great qualities in his recent fights, beating world class opponents. Moreover, he has improved tremendously since their last fight.

Kozma would like to stop the Prince in an April fight, but he fears that it won’t happen. He praised his opponent in that regard.

“Peter is unstoppable, he’s really tough. But I will try to finish him. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t matter. I’m ready for five rounds, I have the physique for it. We’ll see what Peter does,” he said on his YouTube channel.

To get to the title fight, Kniz had to beat Kaiko Brito. The match ended on points, but the result was debated at length. On first impression, Kozma himself saw the Prince winning, but would have given a draw.

And what will happen after “Monster”? At the end of March there will be a fight for the next possible challenger. Bojan Velickovic and Mate Kertesz will face each other in Šamorín. Velickovic lost once to Kozma, Kertesz twice.

“It’s Oktagon that decides if Bojan deserves a rematch, not me. I’m ready to face whoever Oktagon assigns me. But I would like someone else, maybe a Brit. Someone I haven’t beaten yet, so it’s not always the same,” Kozma expressed.
