The Prince, at 44, wouldn’t defend a six-round match. If I won the title, I’d probably quit, he admitted
Petr Kníže proved once again that he is definitely not just any fighter. He didn’t get the win when David Kozma beat him on points, but at the age of 44 he gave a great performance in a five round battle. He said the fight could have turned out differently if it had gone one round longer.

We expected a war, we got one. David Kozma’s rematch with Monster went better for the longest reigning Octagon champion. Although he was mobbed by the crowd, the 44-year-old veteran fought back and showed all the qualities for which he is so highly regarded.
Kozma found out fairly early in the fight that he could control Monster on the ground. His tactics unfolded accordingly. On the other hand, it was Prince who felt better in the stand-up, showing incredible challenge for his age. What’s more, he could have easily added another round.
“Maybe if there was one more lap, it would have gone better,” Monster was clear at the press conference . “I tried to keep it in perspective because I know David has a good physique and is used to five laps. I wanted to set up a surprise for him, I was waiting for a chance, but it didn’t happen,” he added.
Monster joked that he needs to talk Octagon into hosting six-round title fights. He said he can handle five rounds in the cage with anyone. However, despite jokes like that, he was disappointed with the outcome, he envisioned it differently.
“If I had won the title, I think I would have said I was done. Because it didn’t happen, I have to rethink it. In my personal life, I have some things to sort out. When I get that done, I’ll go for what’s mine,” admitted Knight of thinking about ending his wrestling career.
He said the outcome didn’t work out for a number of reasons. First of all, he had a tough preparation where he couldn’t concentrate only on his fight. In addition, he had problems with his takedowns. In addition, he said Kozma had improved immeasurably from the last fight.
