In October, the Oktagon organization continues its brand-building journey in Germany. We already know the card of the tournament with the serial number 36 in Frankfurt.

At the ongoing Oktagon 35 gala in Brno, the organization reveals its plans for the coming months. Already in October we will see more fights in Frankfurt, Germany, where we saw the Oktagon 33 tournament in June.

Back then the organization managed to sell out the Frankfurt Festhalle and the whole gala was appreciated by the media of our western fans. Oktagon announced their return to German soil the same night.

And we definitely have something to look forward to. The card for the tournament is looking really good. Will the October event surpass the June tournament, which became the most successful MMA event in Germany’s history?

Gradually, Oktagon revealed the individual fights, but the rest of the card was still hidden from the fans. Today, the organization unveiled more fights that are stirring up exciting emotions for fans of the sport.

The main fight of the night will be provided by German “Terminator” Stephan Pütz, who will face Milos Petrasek for the welterweight title. We will also see a rematch from the June tournament between home star Christian Eckerlin, whose win against Brazilian Oliveira was annulled.

We will also see another rematch. “Kelt” Christian Jungwirth will look to avenge his narrow loss to Oktagon darling Maté Kertész. Rounding out the foreign card are heavyweights Jeremy Kimball and Hatef Moeil.

Former title challengers Bojan Velickovic and Apollo Silva promise a world-class spectacle. As well as a fight between David Zawada and John Hathaway, who have fought many fights in the UFC’s top league.

The big news for the domestic scene is the return of Samuel “Piráta” Kristofic, who faces Zdeněk Polívka in the middleweight division. The card will be completed by Vasek Mikulasek or Marek Bartl.
