The Oktagon decided to open up the men’s weight class last year and Elias Garcia became the champion. He was warned by the organization’s management that he could lose his belt if he didn’t fight. And now that’s becoming a reality, others will get the chance.

The Oktagon went to England last year and made its first appearance in Manchester. At Oktagon 48, he opened the flyweight tournament and had Elias Garcia take on Aaron Abe for the title.

The former celebrated the victory, the reason being a doctor’s decision. Garcia was no better and as it happens, in such cases a rematch is arranged. But the new Octagon champion refused the first attempt.
