The King and Leipzig? RB has found another midfielder, but another Bundesliga club is interested
Alex Kral is a member of Spartak Moscow again after an unsuccessful loan spell, but a move to Western Europe, specifically Germany, is in the cards. Recently there was talk of Leipzig’s interest, but this transfer is unlikely to work out. The Bundesliga could work out, though.

A failed loan spell in England has tarnished his reputation across the country. But Alex King is still only 24 years old, he celebrated his birthday in May. He is young, has room to develop and one failed stint does not mean he is not a good footballer.
After all, if he was, he certainly wouldn’t be linked with a move to Leipzig, a hated but nonetheless one of the best clubs in the Bundesliga. The Saxon side is led by coach Domenico Tedesco, under whom King worked at Spartak Moscow. He played the most games of his career under him.
In many ways, this would be a win for the Czech midfielder. He would have played in the Champions League. But in the end, it might not work out. Leipzig are planning to buy the same age Xaver Schlager from Wolfsburg, which will probably put the King out of the picture.
However, the midfielder may still head to the Bundesliga, and to the oldest German club, where former national team captain Vladimir Darida is a long-term player.
This is Hertha Berlin, who had a disastrous season, when they only saved their first league affiliation in the barrage. The team from the German capital wants to do everything possible to prevent something similar from happening again. And it is the King who will help them do just that.
It is worth mentioning that Hertha coach Sandro Schwarz knows King very well. He was the coach of Dynamo Moscow and coached many a match against King. So this is not a case of trial and error, but the opposite. The Czech midfielder could be a key figure for the team.
