Tereza Bledá became the first female champion of the Oktagon MMA organization at the age of 19. Unfortunately, she is often the target of criticism and various rumours. Promoter Ondrej Novotny has stood up for her and speculated about her future.

The last tournament of 2021 offered the first female title fight in the Oktagon MMA organization. It featured Tereza Bledá and Mabelly Lima, who scored only the second loss of her career.

However, it can’t be said that the entire public was thrilled that a talented Czech fighter won the title.

Various insults started to be hurled in the comments on social media. First of all on the quality of the Brazilian opponent, who supposedly came only as easy food, but secondly on Bledé.

the 19-year-old fighter, who dreams of the UFC, has to face various speculations about doping, not avoiding insults about her appearance.

“I don’t understand the hate on Teresa, I don’t even want to talk about it. It’s pathetic, I block such people immediately, I don’t need such people in my life. Tereza and I laugh about it, but of course it makes you sad when people spit on a Czech athlete who works and toils like a bitch,” said Bledá’s promoter Ondřej Novotný on MMA Letem světem.

And how does it look with her staying in the Octagon? Bledá has made no secret lately that she is not pushing to leave, she is as happy as can be in the Czechoslovakian organization.

“Very likely we might keep her this year, but maybe not. Maybe we will see her in America,” Novotný speculated.

The Octagon promoter also said that Bledá’s victory over the Brazilian was not because Lima is a bad fighter, but because the Czech fighter is so very good.
