The entire middle division in the Oktagon is silent. No one is going to ask for the title, I don’t know if anyone wants to go with me, Kincl said
Patrik Kincl currently does not know the name of his opponent for the middleweight belt. Robert Bryczek has left for the UFC and there are not many other options, the fighters simply do not want to fight him. What is the current situation?

The middleweight division has regularly been the best occupied in the Oktagon. Now, however, the division seems to have stalled. The reason is simple, Karlos Vémola moved up to welterweight and Robert Bryczek left for the UFC.
Samuel Kristofich fell to Bryczek last time out and thus cannot go for the title. And the other fighters simply don’t want to fight Kinclo, they realize they’re not up to it at the moment.
So now there are only three possible options in the game. The most likely is Vlasto Čepo, who has a fight in Bratislava soon and Kincl could not fight there yet.
So the real possibility is at the end of the year, either in Prague or in Ostrava. The other option is Kerim Engizek, who is interested in Kincl, but he has only one fight in the Oktagon and not with a very strong opponent.
“He asked for it. The whole middle division in the Oktagon is silent. Nobody is asking for the title, I don’t know if anybody wants to go with me. If someone asks for it and puts on a performance, they should be considered.
It’s a shame for the Oktagon in the finals because then the rankings are useless if fighters don’t want to fight for the title. Someone outside the rankings will have to step in,” Kincl told Kaocko.cz.
And the third option? Someone from the outside would have to come to the Oktagon, although there is no speculation about a name right now. Michal Materla is out due to injury.
So we have to wait for the tournament in Bratislava, which might give us a hint. The promoter Ondrej Novotny himself admitted that if Cepo wins, it should be him.
