The end of Peseta in the Octagon? We’re interested in him, but we don’t have anything signed yet. He has an offer from abroad, says Novotný
Viktor Peshta won the Octagon welterweight title, but his contract with the organization ended with this fight. He hasn’t renewed it yet, because he has an offer not only from Oktagon, but also from RFA or a foreign organization.
Viktor Peshta won the Octagon welterweight title, but his contract with the organization ended with this fight. He hasn’t renewed it yet, because he has an offer not only from Oktagon, but also from RFA or a foreign organization.
Viktor Peshta won the Oktagon welterweight championship in September when he defeated Stephan Pütz. The bout was stopped by a doctor and a rematch was expected.
Peshta more or less promised his German opponent one, and towards the end of the year the organization announced that there would be a rematch and it would take place from the 2022 region.
However, all is different, Pest’s contract expired in his last fight and he has yet to sign a new one. He has received other offers, not only from the RFA.
“Viktor has had an offer from us for a long time. It’s not easy. He also has an offer from a foreign organisation and it’s up to him to decide. We want our champion. In fact, our offer said that he can negotiate with this organization if he wants.
And Viktor has never made any secret of the fact that he wants to fight in America. We’d just like to know as soon as possible. It’s holding him and us back. We haven’t signed anything with him yet, so I can’t even find him an opponent at the moment,” said Ondrej Novotny on the MMA Flight Around the World podcast.
It’s very likely that his paths will part ways with the Octagon and Pest will go on a foreign adventure.
