As early as February 17, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was to become the boxing capital of the world again. The whole world was looking forward to the long-delayed and extremely anticipated battle, in which Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk were to fight for the unification of all heavyweight titles.

The fight could not be arranged for a long time. The English champion in particular was causing problems, as he was constantly setting nonsensical terms. The Ukrainian was always more or less nodding off, it was obvious that he was interested in the fight and that he had a lot of confidence in himself. In addition, promoter Turki Alalshikh assured that there is absolutely no reason to worry about either champion trying to pull out of the fight. The reason? If anyone pulls out of the match, they will be fined $10 million, or more than 231 million crowns.

There are alternate scenarios. “If they’re afraid of Usyk, I’ll call Anthony Joshua. If he’s afraid of Tyson, I’ll call whoever Usyk chooses. We have a guarantee from both sides, they both know it,” the promoter expressed on the show.

Alalshikh also responded directly to Gypsy King’s injury, who has 11 stitches above his eye. Apparently, he had a special camera in his camp that monitors Tyson’s training and also verifies the champion’s injury.
