The man who will have the opening bout had a little trouble. Daniel Shkvor overweighed and had to go naked, but eventually got to the required limit.
There were no major problems after that, only the last man to make weight, Marcin Naruszczka, had any.
He was going to have a title fight and his weight had to be accurate, because of that Karlos Vémola lost his title last time.
He weighed exactly 84 kilos for the first time, but that’s 100 grams more than he needs to have. So all his clothes had to come off.
Behind the black curtain, the Polish wrestler finally managed to lose the blanket in question, so he can finally eat properly.
The tournament starts on Saturday at 7 pm. There will be a public weigh-in later today, also from 7pm.
