Tereza Bledá is still undefeated in the Octagon and every step closer to her dream of being the youngest female fighter in UFC history. But to achieve this goal, she must defeat her new opponent, with whom she will go for the title. Can she do it?
The Octagon 30 tournament has been losing a lot of fighters and the attraction has been steadily increasing. But that’s a thing of the past, as Tereza Bledá will take to the cage!
Her match will be a title match and will be the highlight of the night. Her opponent will be Mabelly Lima, who three years ago fought for a UFC contract, which she ultimately failed to do.
But this defeat is the only one in her career, Lima has a 9:1 streak and the young Czech is not expecting anything easy. Indeed, even Bledá would like to visit the UFC, where she wants to be the youngest female fighter in history.
But to do that, she would need to win the title and improve her streak, which is now 4: 0. What did she say about her tough opponent who will want to be her first humiliation?
“Me and André (coach André Reinders) have been working hard for the belt. But we weren’t sure if it would work out, considering that two title fights were already on the card originally. The preparation was much the same as always, but I worked a bit more on my fitness.
My opponent seems to be a very good fighter with a pretty similar style to mine. I’m really looking forward to this fight and five rounds will be a new test for me if the fight is on points. I believe I have not underestimated my preparation and I will become the first OKTAGON champion. The belt would definitely be a big step forward,” said the Pale MMA Shorties.
