Stephan Pütz accused referee Touche of being Viktor Peshta’s manager. Where is the truth?
The title fight between Stephan Pütz and Viktor Pest did not go too well. The fight was stopped by the doctor because of an open wound on the German fighter’s nose.
The title fight between Stephan Pütz and Viktor Pest did not go too well. The fight was stopped by the doctor because of an open wound on the German fighter’s nose. However, the latter disagreed with the verdict and has now come forward claiming that the referee of the fight, Pavel Touš, is his opponent’s manager. Where is the truth?
Stephan Pütz was pretty angry after his loss to Viktor Peseta. According to him, the doctor should not have stopped the fight and the fight could have continued.
The match was quite even up to that point and it seemed that Pest was running out of strength. We won’t know how it would have turned out, but a possible rematch is real.
Pütz and his team have now come forward claiming that the referee of the fight, Pavel Touš, is the manager of Peshta, the winner of the title fight. Where is the truth?
“No I am not the manager of Viktor Peshta. His manager is Jiri Paluska. I helped Jiri with the contract for Viktor in Russia. That was in 2018. This graphic that appeared yesterday reminds me of articles from Blesk. Write in big letters SCANDAL and then in small letters – Is he Pest’s manager?
Just ask me, or Ondra Novotny, who he negotiates contracts with for Pest. For sure, even yesterday’s live stream, which this drivel refers to, was blocked for the Czech Republic. I rather see it as an attempt by the German side to retaliate in any way they can,” Touš told MMA Shorties.
So it seems that Pütz and his team are just trying to make the public feel that a rematch is necessary. However, it is expected that it will actually happen.
