Someone’s collecting stamps, I’m collecting belts. Monster’s already missed the train, Kozma believes. The prince would like to become the oldest champion in MMA

On Saturday Ostrava will be the venue of the rematch between David Kozma and Petr Knížet. A lot has changed compared to the first fight, especially Kozma has made a huge progress. How do both fighters perceive the fight?
David Kozma will defend his title of Oktagon champion again on Saturday, his opponent will be Petr Knize, who managed to beat him once in the past. However, the Pink Panther will be the favourite, after all he is younger and age could play a significant role in the fight.
“I already know what Kniz is like. He can threaten me with anything, he’s complex, tough, he can hold up and he packs a punch. I will be ready for it. He’s got some age now, I hope he’s not too old to beat me. Of course, he can put on a great performance, but I believe he’s already missed the train and I’ll win the fight,” Kozma was heard on The Road to OKTAGON.
The Pink Panther already has five belts, but he also believes in winning a sixth. But does he have any special room in the house for them? No. All the belts are in bed. “They’re dusty, but soon I’ll make a display case for them. Someone collects stamps, coins, I decided to collect belts and I think I’m doing well,” the champion remarked.
As a native of Karviná, he will enjoy great support in Ostrava as usual. As he says, 90% of his friends are in this part of the country, and he has a strong fan base there. He also enjoys the support of his family. Without them, he says, he wouldn’t enjoy it so much.
The Prince will try for a miracle, as time is not something that can be influenced in any way. He’s almost 45 years old. While Kozma has steadily improved since their first fight, it’s hard to make any big progress at Monster’s age.
“It’s going to be a lot harder. It’s a big chance that I have to grab and grab. Kozma has moved on a lot, he’s developed technically, he’s improved his stance. He’s like a diesel, when he gets going he works from start to finish, which could be an advantage,” Monster is clear.
He is aware that if he wins, he could be the oldest belt holder ever in all of MMA. As he puts it, it would add more value than beating a champion who has four defenses under his belt without a loss.
