OKTAGON 38 offered some interesting matches and we also had a few surprises. One of the biggest, if not the biggest, was Daniel Škvor. The Czech fighter fell after less than a minute.

Prague’s O2 Arena saw a beautiful climax to the year 2022 in combat sports. The biggest domestic organization Oktagon hosted the tournament with the serial number 38 and despite a few problems we finally saw a quality card.

The fighters also provided some rather interesting surprises. Unfortunately, one of them was caused by the popular Daniel Shkvor, who entered his fight as a favorite.

However, Jorick Montagnac knew that Skvor was a great stand-up fighter and therefore also knew that it was not a good idea to mess with him in any way. He decided to act accordingly and the fight didn’t last too long.

The Czech fighter didn’t land a single punch on Montagnac in the fight, instead he landed eight and unfortunately for him it was enough to lose.

Montagnac managed to sneak one accurate punch right on the chin and Skvor went down quickly. There the Frenchman didn’t hesitate and unleashed a series of punches that led to the end of the fight.

The Frenchman then surprised not only with his performance, but also with a statement when he revealed to promoter Ondrej Novotny that he would like to fight for the title. However, that title is held by Karlos Vémola and apparently he is expected to defend it against Stephan Pütz in the summer.

For Montagnac, it was his third win in his third fight in the Octagon. Novotny hinted that we could potentially see him take on Rafael Xavier in a title fight next.
