He last fought in the Czech Republic in September last year. After that he was supposed to fight at the Oktagon 30 tournament in December, but without a contract he wrestled in KSW and then signed in the new RFA organization. Miroslav Broz’s autumn was quite busy.
Miroslav Broz fought under the Oktagon banner, but then his contract expired and the organization was counting on an extension.
In the end, however, the negotiations went on for so long that his previously announced appearance at Oktagon 30 was cancelled.
That turned out to be a rather unprecedented draw, but Brož will most likely have another opportunity to fight for his first win in Poland.
He has signed a contract with KSW that will allow him to fight in the Czech Republic as well. However, it won’t be in the Octagon anymore, but in the RFA, a new organization that will soon have its first tournament.
Why did Brož sign there? “It took quite a long time, I had about six or seven meetings with Boris Marhansky. The most important thing for me was the financial aspect.
I got a very good offer from the RFA, but I didn’t sign right away, I went to Ondra Novotny. I told him what conditions I had received and that I was happy in OKTAGON. But Ondra said he couldn’t give me that kind of money.
If someone offers me almost three times as much as OKTAGON, I just have to respond to it, nobody can be mad at me,” he said on the Fight Cast One podcast.
