RFA? No one’s approached me, nor would they. I have no reason to leave, says Szabová

At the Oktagon 30 tournament we will see two women’s fights, one of them will be handled by Lucia Szabová, who is one of the most popular fighters of the Oktagon organization. However, she said in an interview that she never wants to fight on this date again, as her training has basically cancelled her Christmas holiday.

Lucia Szabova will challenge Israel’s Olga Rubin, who also fought in one of the best organizations in the world, Bellator, at the Oktagon 30 tournament on December 30.

However, the Slovakian admitted that wrestling during the Christmas holidays is not exactly a walk in the park, as you basically can’t enjoy them.

“If I had to choose next time whether to wrestle right after Christmas, I would never wrestle again in my life! I didn’t care a week ago, but when all kinds of goodies started popping up everywhere, it became crazy,” he told Kaocko.

She hasn’t studied her opponent much, although she is one of the toughest she has ever faced in the octagon.

Recently, the new RFA organization has been pulling in Octagon fighters. Has Szabo gotten an offer?

“No one has approached me. And even if they did, they wouldn’t have come to me. I have a contract in Oktagon and I’m very happy here, so I wouldn’t go anywhere else at the moment. The RFA has pulled a few fighters, but hasn’t held a tournament yet. Plus, I really have no reason to leave,” she added.
