Oktagon MMA hyped up its fans for upcoming tournaments and galas on Thursday night. We’ll see four more tournaments after Stvanica before the end of the year. Who’s guaranteed to show up for them?
Already this weekend we will see the Oktagon 26 tournament at the iconic Štvanica. After that, the Czechoslovak leader in the MMA market will offer us four more tournaments until the end of 2021.
The organization has already informed about the Oktagon 27 tournament, which will be held in Slovakia again, and will be dominated by the title fight between Ivan Buchinger and Vojt Barborik.
25. september will see the return of the Oktagon 28 tournament, which will see the return of Peter Knizhet, who will face Kaiko Brito. Filip Macek, Viktor Pesta and Leo Brichta will also make an appearance.
This was to be followed by the November Oktagon Underground tournament, which would feature Karlos Vémola in a boxing match with Marpo. But the gala will be moved to the beginning of next year.
Outside of the Vémola vs. Marpo fight, the promoters then announced that the next fight on the card will be a bout between Jakub Štáfek and Gábor Boráros.
We will see two tournaments in December. On December 4, Oktagon 29 is scheduled, where David Kozma will defend his title again, besides Václav Mikulášek and Tomas Bol will fight.
Oktagon 30 will take place on December 30, but without a specific line-up for now. However, promoters have hinted that it could feature a middleweight title fight without Karlos Vemola.
One of the pair, Samuel Kristofic and Marcin Naruszczka, who will now fight for the interim title at the Štvanici Arena, could become the regular champion at the end of the year.
Oktagon then hinted that something special is in the pipeline, not only for the sport but also for the show business community.
