Popular youtuber now co-owns the first Czech MMA organization! In the video he sent a message to Vémol: Karl, you’ll throw the belt you have at home in my office

Great news for fans of combat sports. The GCF, which was the first ever MMA organization in the Czech Republic, seems to be gaining momentum again. Now it has a new co-owner and there is no fear that it won’t know how to sell its new project. To that end, he sent a message to the Czech Terminator.

GCF has been passed by our biggest stars

The term GCF may not mean anything to many fans, as MMA in our country was popularized only by Oktagon, but know that this is the first MMA organization that operated here.

Gladiator Championship Fighting, as the unabbreviated name of the organization sounds, has held dozens of tournaments. Our biggest stars have been in the organization. It is worth mentioning, for example, Jiri Prochazka, the current UFC champion, or the star of the Octagon and the first Czech in the UFC Karlos Vémola.

In recent years, this famous brand unfortunately went into the background. But this is likely to change, even though the new co-owner has no ambitions to become the market leader.

GCF is now co-owned by a popular youtuber, the announcement shows the potential

The new co-owner of the organisation is Vladimir Kadlec, who may be known to many as VladaVideos, the name he goes by on the YouTube platform. He was supposed to have a match under the banner of Oktagon, which tried the project War of YouTubers, but it did not come to a successful end.

However, Kadlec has not given up on MMA. On the contrary. He announced that he’s planning a big thing. But few people expected him to be involved in the GCF. And because he is popular with the people and knows how to win them over, his involvement with the organization has great potential.

In fact, this was already evident in the announcement video that Kadlec posted on his YouTube channel. With a cardboard dummy of Ondrej Novotny, the head of Oktagon, he declared that there is no longer just one promoter on our MMA scene, but two.

However, as mentioned above, GCF is not meant to compete with Oktagon, but to act as an intermediate step for amateur fighters who are starting their professional careers and want to get into their dream organization. But Kadlec wants to be the best promoter possible and wants his organization to be one of the best on our scene.

Will Vémola lose his title?

The popular youtuber also took a dig at Karlos Vemola, who became GCF champion in 2013. For one thing, he hinted that he would find a place for him in the organization after his career ends. But that’s not all.

“Karl, I found out one more thing. That you are the rightful champion in this organization. Now, I’m gonna tell you the news. Not anymore. You know why? Because I can. So you’re gonna throw that belt you have at home back in my office so I can watch. Because why? Because I can,” Kadlec let himself be heard.
