Matěj Peňáz has another match ahead of him, which could take place in April at OKTAGON 32. Moreover, the organization has probably got him a very interesting opponent, who has experience from Bellator and has competed against one of the biggest stars of the American organization.
The OKTAGON Prime 5 tournament will take place this Saturday and will offer spectacular matches. In between the prelims and the main card, the organization will, as usual, present the fights and fighters we will see at OKTAGON 32.
The main event in Ostrava will be a fight between David Kozma and Petr Knížet, while the event will also feature Václav Mikulášek, Jeremy Kimball and Thomas Narmo. Matěj Peňáz, a rising star of the Octagon, should not be missed either.
According to the information leaked during one of the Oktagon videos on the board at Reinders Gym, Peñaz’s next opponent will be Giovanni Melillo, a very experienced fighter with a 14:6 record.
Melillo has finished 11 of his fights before the limit, in the past he has defeated for example Christian Eckerlin, one of the current faces of the Oktagon. He has also had two fights in Bellator, where he finished the popular Michal “Venom” Page, but lost to him.
Peñaz currently has a record of 5: 0, plus he now trains at the Allstars Training Center in Sweden, where he meets stars such as Khamzat Chimaev, Alexander Gustaffson and other UFC fighters.
If Matej Peñaz can win this fight as well, it would be a very valuable scalp that could once again take him to the next level.
