Patrik Kincl is a new fighter of the Oktagon organization. The official announcement was made on Saturday at the tournament in Pardubice, Kincl ends his stay in KSW, where he recently lost to Robert Soldic in a title fight. He was still talking about wanting a rotating start.

Patrik Kincl has had three fights in the KSW organization, which is certainly one of the best in the world. In September he got a chance to fight for the Welterweight title, but he couldn’t beat Robert Soldic.

His contract with KSW ended after the fight, but Kincl planned to sign a new one and then guest in one of the Czech organizations.

Until recently, he talked about the fact that it looks more like RFA, which is a new organization, and that Oktagon wants a purely exclusive contract, which Kincl disagrees with.

But everything changed with the injury to Karlos Vemola, Kincl signed an exclusive contract with Oktagon and will fight Samuel Kristofich for the title.

There were some negotiations, but nothing concrete, it looked like it wasn’t going to happen. And this offer for a title fight was actually born overnight,” he told iSport.

“I think the biggest thing against it was that it was an exclusive contract and not the alternate start that I originally wanted with KSW. The biggest ‘pro’ was that it was a title fight and also the possibility of a rematch, which I’ve been trying to get for a few years. I put it out of my mind originally, but it started to become relevant again,” he added.
