The Oktagon MMA organization claimed that they will soon be presenting in a new city where they have never organized a tournament before. And now it is clear what city it will be. Pardubice will host the OKTAGON Prime 4 tournament.
During the official weigh-in for OKTAGON 27, promoter and founder of the Oktagon MMA organization Ondrej Novotny revealed that Pardubice will be the new city to host the next tournament.
The city of gingerbread will see the OKTAGON Prime 4 tournament, which is scheduled for November 6.
Although Prime tournaments are usually not that attractive, this will be an exception. Normally, this would be a heavily numbered tournament, except that the organization would have to change the numbers on already announced tournaments.
Novotný wants the OKTAGON 30 tournament to take place on 30 December. The organisation wants to make an immediate impact in the new city.
East Bohemia should host the title fight of Filip Macek, who does not know his opponent yet. It was supposed to be Farid Basharat, but due to unspecified complications his participation is not certain.
He should be joined by Rafael Xavier, who is facing Viktor Peseta for the title. Novotný also mentioned the names of Jan Malach and Vaclav Holota. There are also a few surprises in the pipeline.
