The biggest Czechoslovak MMA organization Oktagon is preparing for the next gala called Oktagon 32, which will be hosted next Saturday in the toughest city of the republic Ostrava. An Oktagon Time press conference is scheduled for Friday, which will reveal a slew of plans and news within the organization.

Oktagon this year does not cease to surprise not only the domestic audience

This year we have already seen two packed tournaments on the domestic scene under the auspices of the leading MMA organization Oktagon in Prague’s O2 Arena and Slovakia’s Šamorín. Next weekend, however, we will see another Oktagon 32 MMA tournament with the title fight of Kozma vs. Kníže, who will battle it out for the welterweight championship belt in a rematch of 2017.

We already know of at least two other tournaments that have already been announced by the organization. And we have a lot to look forward to. In May, we will have an unconventional stand-up tournament in the O2 Arena, where the most popular Czech fighter Karlos Vémola and musician Marp or bantamweight champion Jonas Magard and kickboxer Vasek Sivák will fight in classic boxing matches.

Then in June, the bar will go a little higher as Oktagon unveils its expansion into the German scene, culminating in the Oktagon 33 tournament in Frankfurt. Here too we will see a stacked card that is unparalleled within the organisation.

In the title bout, lightweight champion Ivan Buchinger and Belgian revelation Losene Keita will battle for the belt. A card of at least European parameters will be enriched with names such as Stephan Puetz, Martin Zawada, Christian Eckerlin and Karlos Vémola. In addition, the tournament will feature the winners of the Octagon Challenge, who will emerge from a pyramid of eight fighters.

Reportedly, that’s not all either, and the organization has some spectacular plans in the works that will literally make fans sit on their asses. Their unveiling will take place at the aforementioned Oktagon Time press conference, which will take place in the multifunctional Gong hall in Ostrava on Friday, April 8, 2022.

In addition to the announcement of other tournaments of the organization and their cast, fans will learn news about the Oktagon.tv platform. There will also be staredowns not only for Saturday’s tournament at Ostravar Arena, but also for the May Underground boxing tournament.

For a symbolic entry fee of 20 CZK, fans will be able to see with their own eyes stars such as Karlos Vémola, Otakar “Marpo” Petřina, Ivan Buchinger or Losene Keita. From 4 pm the announced press conference with interviews including staredowns for the Underground boxing tournament will take place, and at 6 pm it will be the turn of the Oktagon 32 fighters weigh-in.

The event, designed for media and fans, is sure to be very interesting and those who cannot be present in person will not be deprived of the action at the press conference. In fact, you can watch the event online on the organization’s youtube channel.
