Oktagon has another Gamechanger member! Former KSW wrestler Ion Surdu will fight for a rich prize
The Tipsport Gamechanger from Oktagon is slowly filling up. The organization has announced another name, and this time it’s no slouch either. Moldovan Ion Surdu, who has experience with, among others, the reality show Survivor, will fight for the pyramid.
His name is Ion Surdu, a 27-year-old fighter you may know from KSW, where he also appeared last year. His current streak is 12::4.
He is currently 91 in the world middleweight rankings, the clear number one Romanian welterweight, and even the winner of the Romanian version of the reality show Survivor. Of his twelve wins, he has nine KOs and one submission, nine of them first round stoppages,” announced Oktagon on its social media.
According to Oktagon, Surdu will definitely not be fodder for quality Oktagon fighters, as many fans may think.
They were expecting bigger names, but they also have to take into account that the better quality fighters are short under contract and the European welterweights are already in the Oktagon.
Surdu may surprise them though, after all he shut out Kacper Koziorzebski in the first round in KSW, and in his last fight he won by KO in less than a minute over Brazilian Handesson Ferreira at UAE Warriors.
