Oktagon had to deal with more than one dropped match at the upcoming tournament in Ostrava. However, the Czechoslovak organization is doing great. It was previously announced that Lucie Pudilova would be in action, and now another fight has been announced.
OKTAGON 32 seems to be another cursed tournament in terms of dropped fights. It has been known for some time that Matej Kuznik, Stephan Pütz and Ondrej Raschka will not be going into action. The organization has therefore started looking for quick replacements.
Raska, who was supposed to fight Al Matava, was replaced by Branislav Zuzak as Matava’s new replacement. However, the fight will not take place due to injury.
Moreover, the organization had already announced that Lucie Pudilova will fight Caroline Yariwake Da Cruz. Now another very interesting match has been announced.
Just two weeks after his fight with Robert Pukac, German fan favourite Christian Jungwirth will be back in action. Promoter Ondrej Novotny talked about his involvement last week on the MMA Flight Around the World podcast, and now it has been confirmed.
In Shamorin, Jungwirth was able to break a streak of three straight losses and will definitely be looking to continue his collection of wins.
His opponent will be the Polish fighter Mateusz Strzelczyk, who fought in the Octagon with Pirate, Matej Peñaz, Vlast Čep and Emmanuel Dawa, his record is 2:2.
