OKTAGON 33 will go down in the history of Czechoslovak MMA forever. For the first time in history, a Czechoslovak organization headed beyond the Czechoslovak borders when it held a tournament in Frankfurt, Germany.
The tournament featured Germany’s biggest stars and managed to sell out the famous Festhalle with a capacity of almost 10,000 seats. It was the first ever MMA tournament in Frankfurt. And we already know it won’t be the last.
Oktagon will return to the Hessian city later this year, when it will host the OKTAGON 36 tournament. As now, the gala will feature the brothers Martin and David Zawad and Frankfurt icon Christian Eckerlin.
The second tournament in Germany will also feature fighters from the German OKTAGON Challenge. However, specific matches and other fighters will be announced by the organization in the near future. After all, there is still a lot of time left until the tournament.
The tournament will take place on October 15, four months from now.
The RFA, an organization that would like to compete with Oktagon, will not be happy about the date of the tournament. On the same day it is holding its tournament in Košice and it will be almost impossible for fans to watch both tournaments at the same time.
