Nobody expected this! Oktagon announced this morning that Karlos Vemola is injured and another fight is being sought in his place, Marcin Naruszczka will fight for the title, but with Samuel Kristofich, who has wanted a title fight for a long time. And if he wins, he’ll face Vémola.

Miracles do happen, and the Oktagon tournament in Štvanica will be a bit more interesting again. Although Karlos Vémola will not participate due to injury, the organization has a quality replacement.

Instead of Vémola, Samuel “The Pirate” Krištofič, who has been asking for a title fight for some time now, will face Marcin Naruszczka for the title.

However, he wanted a match with Vemola, which he can expect soon, the winner of this match will get the interim title and just a match with Vemola.

This is an excellent move by the Czech-Slovak organization, which knows that losing another big name is a problem, but not so much if they announce the participation of another big name.

Krištofič thus has a unique chance which he must seize. Because if Vémola were to take the fight and win, Ondrej Novotný would certainly not make the fight with him.
