Octagon lost an interesting match at the upcoming Munich tournament. Unfortunately, Miloš Petrášek, who was supposed to challenge Pavol Langer, will not take part in the tournament due to injury. However, the organization quickly found a replacement in the form of an experienced Brazilian.
Miloš Petrášek is one of the most popular fighters in Oktagon. However, the frequent guest of promoter Ondrej Novotny on the MMA Flight Around the World show is constantly dealing with health problems.
Because of them, we saw him fight only once in 2022, when he fell to Stephan Pütz after a five-round battle. We could look forward to seeing him later on, but it was an injury that kept him out of any fights.
So it was thought that his return was scheduled for the beginning of February, when Oktagon will visit Munich for the first time. However, Petrasek will not be allowed to fight Pavel Langer again.
And this time it is a more serious injury that many believe should keep him out of the fight for the entire year. It is a torn anterior cruciate ligament
However, the organization was quick to find a replacement for Petrasek. Even before the announcement of his injury, the team agreed with an experienced Brazilian.
Rafael Xavier will want to get his fifth win in a row and thus get closer to a title shot, which is already imminent. Indeed, the thirty-two-year-old Kratos is still undefeated in the Octagon.
We will therefore see his performance in less than a month, on February 11 at the Audi Dome in Munich. There will definitely be something to look forward to.
