Nate Diaz has hinted at where he will fight next! The Octagon was a no-brainer, a fight with a boxing legend is on the cards

As expected, Nate Diaz has received a lot of attention after his end in the UFC. According to promoter Ondrej Novotny, he also received an offer from the Octagon for a record amount of money, but now it’s coming to light why the Czechoslovakian organization was out of options. The American will apparently sign with Japan’s Rizin.

He is one of the biggest legends of MMA, having defeated Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson in the UFC. However, his time in the biggest organization in the world is in the past and now Nate Diaz is looking for new challenges.

One of them could be the Octagon. Promoter Ondrej Novotny admitted that he offered Diaz a title fight with Patrik Kinclo. And for a whopping one million euros. But unfortunately, it didn’t work out.

And now it’s clear why. Diaz has hinted on social media that he has signed with another organization, namely the Japanese Rizin, where in the past, for example, Jiri Prochazka won the title.

If there is an official announcement, it will be a big deal. While Rizin took a beating recently when the championship battles between Rizin and Bellator were all won by stars of the American organization, that doesn’t tarnish its reputation or plans.

Recently, legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao signed with Rizin, plus the Japanese brand would like to head towards Hawaii, and earlier, moreover, its boss Nobuyuki Sakakibara spoke about a concrete plan with Diaz.

In fact, the name of another legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather, who among other things defeated McGregor in a boxing match, is linked to Rizin.

In October, Sakakibara admitted that he would like to see the American boxer fight Diaz. So it’s no wonder Diaz wasn’t interested in the money from the Octagon. Rizin can give him much more. Not just financially, but especially in terms of different sporting challenges and ideas.

It’s worth mentioning then that Diaz received a challenge from Jake Paul to fight in both boxing and MMA. Paul has signed with the American MMA organization PFL.
