The last time the former world champion was in the ring was in 2020, when he fought Roy Jones Jr. Now the 27-year-old brash man will challenge him, and age may just be an advantage for the popular influencer.

Mike Tyson will face Jake Paul this summer, specifically on July 20, 2024. The fight will take place at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, which has a possible capacity of up to 100,000 seats for events like this. It will therefore be a spectacular event.

“The biggest game of the 21st century, the biggest stadium in the NFL. The biggest streaming platform will broadcast the whole thing. You don’t want to miss an event like this,” Paul tweeted.

“I couldn’t be more excited that Netflix will offer this spectacular game to all of its subscribers. Taking on the greatest puncher of all time. My goal is to be world champion. This is a chance to take on the best heavyweight in the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. It’s time to send Iron Mike to bed,” he added.

It’s definitely worth noting that Netflix released a short promo video along with the announcement, which features both fighters coming face-to-face. The tension is almost too much to handle.

The match won’t just be labeled as one of the biggest events of the year. It may well be one of the most watched boxing matches of all time. Can the legend teach his brash opponent a hard lesson?
