Matěj Peňáz knows his opponent for the Oktagon 38 tournament, the organization has already announced the date of the fight with Čep

Twenty-six-year-old Matej Peňáz returns to the Octagon. He fell in the first round in Contender and will have to wait for his chance in the UFC. Now he has an opponent for Oktagon 38 and even the date of his fight with Vlast Cepe has been announced.

Until recently, he didn’t have a single defeat on his record. Matej Peñáz won six fights in the Octagon, defeating Giovanni Melillo, Cheick Koné and Mateusz Strzelczyk, among others.

He was then given the chance to fight for a UFC contract as part of Dana White’s Contender Series, but he was no match for Sedriques Dumas, leaving defeated after less than a minute.

So he returns to the Octagon after a brief hiatus and has an opponent already announced for Oktagon 38. And it will be none other than Joel dos Santos.

The twenty-nine year old Brazilian has a record of 16: 7, and in his last fight he was no match for Andrei Kalashnik, whom he lost to on points.

However, he defeated Vlasto Chepa in the DFN organization, who should be Peñaz’s next opponent after Dos Santos. The organization has even announced the fight.
