Oktagon has made no secret of its ambition to be the biggest MMA organization in Europe. And it wants to confirm it this year. Three outdoor events are planned. The fact that one will be in Eden is no surprise to anyone. Besides, a gala event in Bratislava has already been announced. But now a big bombshell has been revealed that could rewrite history.

It didn’t take too long for Oktagon to become the number one Czechoslovak organization. It is currently battling with KSW for the position of European number one, having been nominated as one of the top five organizations on the planet last year.

The comparison with the Polish giant is a constant controversy. However, two almost sold-out football stadiums with a capacity of over 50,000 seats play in favour of the Polish brand. The Czechoslovak organisation still lacks that.

After all, Oktagon has never been in a football stadium, but that will change this year. Back in December it was announced that Ondřej Novotný and Pavol Neruda had agreed on a gala event in Prague’s Eden, which can accommodate almost 30 thousand spectators.

Shortly afterwards, the organisation also boasted that Bratislava will also have its own open-air event, where we will see a kind of new and Slovak “Štvanice”. However, there were speculations about another big event and now the speculations have been confirmed.

Oktagon is about to rewrite history

On Saturday, the OKTAGON 55 tournament took place in Stuttgart, Germany. In Germany, the Czechoslovak organization has become the number one organization there quite quickly. It started to sell out the halls, even almost selling out the biggest arena in the country. Almost 20 thousand spectators came to Cologne.

Currently, according to Ondřej Novotný, the Czechoslovak brand has record numbers in the country. The audience is still growing. There is more and more interest in it. Very interesting companies are starting to cooperate with it. For example, the Stuttgart football club. And he’s not the only one.

“We want to dream even bigger and do it with you,” Novotny was heard saying in Stuttgart before the big announcement. And what came? An absolute bombshell. The Octagon will appear in a football stadium in Germany later this year. In Frankfurt, where it all began.

Eintracht Frankfurt, who play in the Bundesliga, play in a stadium for 55,000 spectators. And it is there that the Czechoslovakian organization will be presented on October 12, 2024. Registration for tickets will soon be open.

If Oktagon manages to get over the 50,000 spectator mark, it will make history. It will be responsible for one of the biggest MMA events of all time.
