Lucia Szabová announced big news. We won’t see her in the octagon for a while

At the Oktagon 31 gala we learned a lot of interesting news. Lucia Szabová, a rising star of the Czechoslovak fight scene, told us a very unexpected news.

Lucia Szabová, who flew into the domestic scene like a hurricane, presented herself at the just held Oktagon 31 tournament as a spectator. After the fight between Vlast Čep and Brazilian Silva, where the Slovak fighter won, the promising fighter in civilian clothes entered the centre of the cage behind the Oktagon promoter Ondřej Novotný.

Novotny introduced the young female wrestler and the tension in the O2 hall was palpable. Szabova, undefeated in the Octagon, took the floor and gave the fans a message that shocked the fans in the hall and those watching the PPV.

“I hope to have a fight here one day,” she responded to Novotny’s question about being a spectator during the Oktagon 31 gala. “My boyfriend and I are expecting a new addition,” she announced the fact that the Slovakian wrestler is going to be a mom.

“I’m really excited, on the one hand I’m scared, but it’s an amazing feeling,” expressed Szabová, obviously touched by her emotions. “I hope to be here in a year or a year and a half and show everyone that I’m up to it,” the rising star of the Octagon concluded her speech.

Obviously, we won’t see Szabová in the Octagon for a while. The expected fight with Lucie Pudilova, who did not join the fight at the gala, will not be seen anytime soon. We wish the mother and her offspring good health.
