Losene Keita preferred the Octagon to the UFC and Bellator! He gave us the best offer, admitted his manager

Losene Keita is one of the greatest jewels of the Octagon MMA organization. And the promoters themselves realize it, too, giving the Belgian fighter such an offer that he decided to prioritize it over a move to the UFC or Bellator.
Losene Keita entered the Octagon with a bang when he was able to defeat Karol Rysavy in December 2021. He fought four more times in MMA within the organization, also defeating Ronald Paradeiser, Ivan Buchinger, Samuel Bark and Jakub Tichota.
This makes him the current lightweight champion and interim featherweight champion. In addition, Keita is undefeated in professional MMA and has caught the attention of world organizations with his performances.
There was speculation that he was headed to the UFC, but in the end everything is different. Keita is staying in the Octagon, where he has extended his contract and according to his manager will become one of the highest earning fighters in Europe.
“We had offers from all 4 biggest organizations in the world. But I can say that we made a very good deal with Oktagon, which we appreciate very much.
Because there were offers on the table from UFC, PFL, Bellator, but also ONE FC. After going through all the offers and studying them carefully, we decided to go with OKTAGON for now, because they generally give us the best offer.
We are counting on Losene to fight twice in OKTAGON this year. One fight at the end of July and then one more after that,” Keita’s manager Padero Faustino told MMA Shorties.
Of course, the amount of the payday is unknown and there’s no point in speculating about it given that financial conditions in the Octagon have improved significantly from earlier.
But in any case, Keita is among the stars in the form of Carlos Vemola or Patrik Kinceloe, who understandably earn the most due to their reach.
