Lohoré is improving with every match, but he is a playable opponent, believes former champion Kozma
Not only Patrik Kincl and Karlos Vémola, but also David Kozma will appear on Saturday in Prague’s O2 arena. He will face Alex Lohoré in the quarter-finals of the Tipsport Gamechanger. The Pink Panther spoke about the game during the public weigh-in.
Oktagon on Saturday will have probably the biggest tournament not only in its history, but also in the history of at least Czech MMA. Patrik Kincl, Karlos Vémola, David Kozma and several former champions of different organizations.
Lohoré took on Samuel Kristofich in the first round. The Pirate did come up with the points, but with the exception of the first round, it was a very dominant performance from Da Killa Kid. Still, it was in the first five minutes that the Slovakian fighter showed what might be coming for Lohoré.
However, the Pink Panther wasn’t going to underestimate anything. He certainly took some knowledge from his opponent’s fight with the Pirate. After all, Da Killa Kid himself expects Kozma to want to take him down.
“I expect Alex to be very prepared and I don’t expect it to be easy. He’s areally good fighter and he’s getting better with every fight,” the former Welterweight champion let his voice be heard at the public weigh-in.
“I’m confident I’m going to win this fight. I beat Apollo who was able to win against Lohore. He is a playable opponent. The main thing is I can’t fall asleep and I have to watch out for the things he does,” said Kozma.
And the prediction? “I don’t like to give predictions, but the important thing is to win. If Lohore offers me a chance to end it, I’ll go for it. But if I have to win on points, which is my habit, I’ll take it,” the Pink Panther concluded his statement.
