Lohoré: I’m not going to rely on the referee! Kozma is fighting on his turf, I’m going to end him
20. may will offer not only the expected duel between Patrik Kincelo and Karlos Vémolá, but also the quarter-finals of Tipsport Gamechanger, in which Alex Lohoré and David Kozma will compete in the O2 Arena. What does Da Killa Kid have to say before the match?
But he had a tough test in the first round. He was up against Samuel Kristofich in the cage. A hard to predict duel that should have been even, but turned out to be more or less one-sided spectacle.
Lohoré handled the match with precision and dominance except for a few moments. The Pirate had the upper hand practically only when he kept the match on the ground for about two minutes. Otherwise, the Slovakian fighter showed above all a big heart and a hard chin.
I’m going to end Kozma, says Lohoré
Lohoré and David Kozma were more or less left at the quarter-final draw. Their duel promises to be an excellent spectacle and will take place at the O2 Arena on May 20. Da Killa Kid is counting on Kozma to learn from the Pirate’s performance and take the fight to the ground.
“Kozma will definitely go for the takedown, but I’m ready for it. He’s been training with Kinclo, he’s definitely given him some tips on how to beat me. But I’m working on my mistakes and I’ll be ready for anything,” he expressed on the MMA Flight Through the World podcast.
The two-time title challenger is also prepared for the entire arena to get behind his opponent. “I’m used to it. It’s not going to affect me in any way. I’m looking forward to what’s going to happen that night,” Lohoré said.
The Pink Panther stands out for his durability and toughness, among other things. In this respect, Lohoré compared him to the Pirate. Still, he has a clear goal: ” I see it coming to an end. Whatever. He’s fighting on his turf, he’ll have the fans behind him. I’m not going to leave it up to the referees. If he makes a mistake, I’m going to want to take advantage of it.”
Da Killa Kid hopes to deliver a great fight to the fans with Kozma. He would then like to see Bojan Velickovic take on Christian Jungwirth in the next round if he advances.
