Leo Brichta’s name has been thrown around a lot in recent weeks and months, especially because of his move from the Octagon to the RFA. Now, the date of his next fight should finally be known. When will it happen and under what organization?
Leo Brichta moved to the new RFA organization despite still having a valid contract in the Octagon. The biggest Czech-Slovak organization doesn’t like that and decided to deal with it legally.
The tug of war has been going on for some time and it was expected that Brichta could fight one fight in the Octagon and then move to the RFA. But that’s not going to happen.
Brichta already has a fight announced in the RFA, so it seems that everything is legally settled, which was confirmed by the fighter’s new manager.
“After many urgings, I have only seen the contract sent by the former management, which does not have the elements of a contract that it should have. So I take it as a contract that is not relevant and valid. I have not received any other contract even after appeals from my lawyer,” she told Československá MMA.
Brichta’s next fight will be on May 14 in Bratislava. It was announced by the promoter Boris Marhansky himself, who did not want to describe the details, which are said to be up to the fighter’s management.
Thus, it is expected that we will not see Brichta in the Oktagon in the coming months or years. In addition, several other fighters are fleeing to the RFA.
