After a long time, the Oktagon MMA organization returns to Slovakia. The OKTAGON 27 tournament will be held in Bratislava on September 11.
The tournament will feature several local stars, including Gábor Borároš, Samuel Krištofič, Robert Pukač and Monika Chochlíková.
The main match of the evening will feature the legendary Ivan Buchinger, the current Oktagon lightweight champion.
Ondrej Novotny revealed at the press conference that Buchinger will get the chance to become the organization’s first fighter to hold two titles simultaneously. This time he will fight for the featherweight belt.
Although the opponent is not yet known, it will be a unique event that fans should not miss.
Novotny then joked at the press conference that it won’t be like Terminator. Rumor has it that Karlos Vemola will claim that he will drop down to featherweight to fight for the title.
Vémola himself would like to hold titles at other weights, he wanted to be the first to do so. But now it seems he can forget about that.
